One of those fantastic early 80s Saturday’s that I vividly remember watching on Grandstand and World of Sport. Fantastic names throughout the four cards, that still conjure up boyish excitement decades later. We now live in an age where you don’t have to beg your parents to look at the overnight declarations on Ceefax or Oracle, or even wait until your dad had finished making his selections before allowing his eager son to devour the racing pages on a morning.
